This detached house is only a five-minute drive from the charming town of Sarlat, the capital of Perigord gastronomy, and is located just across the street from a superb castle. Its large park, crossed by a river that feeds the owners' mill, hosts a private lake in landscaped gardens, swans and ducks in the wild. The house has been perfectly restored and has kept all its original character, with a nice modern and tasteful decoration. The private swimming pool on the terrace is a real sunbather and the covered terrace will be perfect for your evenings. The city of Sarlat is animated by numerous gastronomic festivals and markets, offering black truffles, duck, goose and Bergerac wines. History buffs will find prehistoric caves and beautiful castles. The region also offers many sporting activities: 7 golf courses throughout the Dordogne, more than 2000 km of bicycle paths, horseback riding, hot air ballooning (Carsac) and rock climbing (Castelnaud).
