Welcome! This modern apartment is perfect for couples who like to spend their holidays close to the beach.
The apartment with a size of 55 m2 offers a bedroom with double bed. If you travel with children, we could supply 1 extra bed and put it in the living area.
The apartment is located on the first floor and has a balcony with 8m2 furnished with a table and seats. The living room is the perfect corner to read a book, watch television (Satellite TV) or just relax. The home has no air conditioning but there is one fan available on request. The kitchen offers you everything you will need for your holidays and you will find a microwave, oven, coffee machine, cutlery, glasses, plates and a refrigerator-freezer there. There is a laundry room with washing machine and iron in the building that is shared with another apartment. The apartment is tastefully furnished and very comfortable at the same time. Pets are not allowed.
The location of the apartment is perfect because you have everything you may need in walking distance: the sand beach, a big variety of restaurants, snack bars, a pharmacy, a drug store, shops, supermarkets, a taxi rank, a medical center and a bus station. The bus goes every 15 minutes to Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Pollença or other directions like Palma. The fine grained sand beach is only 200 meters away from the apartment; you just have to walk down the street. The beach is perfect for toddlers because the swell is moderate and the beach slopes down gently into the water.
In Can Picafort you will find lots of restaurants for every kind of taste; fresh fish, excellent meat, pizza and pasta, tapas and typical Majorcan cuisine. If you feel a bit hungry, the numerous snack bars offer sandwiches, hamburgers and salads. For your coffee or tea break you will find lots of cafeterias on the promenade. There are also lots of shops there; beside shops for clothes, shoes and souvenirs you will easily find big and small supermarkets for grocery shopping. The next big supermarkets are located on the main road direction Puerto de Alcúdia or the other side to Son Serra de Marina. You will find also 2 gas stations there.
By car or bus you could easily reach other nice beach areas like Playa de Muro, Playa de Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Alcúdia or Puerto de Pollença. The old town of Alcúdia with its little cobbled streets is a must see. Visit the old squares, the church and the town walls where you can also walk around the top of the old town. Lots of small bars and good restaurants invite you to stop off for a coffee or a snack and take it all in. On Tuesday and Sunday there is market day in Alcúdia and the town turns into a busy place with lots of people. Don
