Welcome to this apartment just 250 meters away from the sea in Can Picafort. It offers all the comfort to make your holiday an unforgettable experience.
The apartment has 85 m2 and it is ideal for families and little groups of friends, as it has two double rooms with two single beds each (90 x 190 cm). All rooms are very spacious and have built-in closets. The apartment has one bathroom and one shower room. There is no AC but we can provide you with fans if you need them.
The apartment is on the first floor of a building without lift. There are neighbours only in the ground floor. In the 5 m2 terrace you can have a nice breakfast, as there is a table with chairs. In the living room you can relax on the comfy sofa, watch TV or have a ‘siesta’.
The independent kitchen has everything you might need during your holiday: toaster, microwave, coffee machine, electric oven, vitro ceramic hob, fridge and a lot more. There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Please mind that pets are not allowed.
The location of the apartment is perfect because you have everything you may need in walking distance: the sand beach, a big variety of restaurants, snack bars, a pharmacy, shops, supermarkets, a medical centre and a bus station. The bus goes every 15 minutes to Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Pollença or other directions like Palma. The fine grained sand beach is only 700 meters away from the apartment and the rocky beach is 250 meters away. There you will find a nice bar where you can watch the sun goes down having a drink. You could rent sun loungers and sun shades for a charge.
In Can Picafort you will find lots of restaurants for every kind of taste; fresh fish, excellent meat, pizza and pasta, tapas and typical Majorcan cuisine. If you feel a bit hungry, the numerous snack bars offer sandwiches, hamburgers and salads. For your coffee/tea break you will find lots of cafeterias on the promenade. Friday morning is market day in Can Picafort and you can find fresh vegetables and fruits from local producers.
By car or bus you could easily reach other nice beach areas like Playa de Muro, Playa de Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Alcúdia, Puerto de Pollença. The old town of Alcúdia with its little cobbled streets is a must see. Visit the old squares, the church and the town walls where you can also walk around the top of the old town. Lots of small bars and good restaurants invite you to stop off for a coffee, a snack and take it all in. On Tuesday and Sunday there is market day in Alcúdia and the town turns into a busy place with lots of people. Don’t forget to visit the Roman Ruins including a villa, a bull-ring and an amphitheatre.
NOTE: The rental of this property is based on the Spanish Law on Urban Leases (29/1994, 24th November). According this law the property is available for seasonal renting. However, the contract does not offer any tourist service. It is only for the use and enjoyment of the property.
