This beautiful house enjoys a breathtaking panoramic view from its nature-surrounded perch in the Calanques, at the foot of Cap Canaille between Cassis and La Ciotat. The landscape is superb, with a 180° view of the rocky hills, Mediterranean plant life and the sparkling blue sea. The fabulous beaches of La Ciotat and the Figuerolles cove can be reached in just 3 minutes by car. The house was completely restored in 2010 and decorated with the impeccable taste, comfort and refinement of a boutique hotel. From the expansive terrace, you can appreciate the unique setting of this villa while you enjoy your meals al fresco. The property is utterly enchanting and perfect for a summer holiday dedicated to ultimate relaxation and tranquility.
This is one of our favorite properties in La Ciotat. The entrance opens onto a large living room, which includes the dining area and lounge. The furniture is quite contemporary, in soothing shades of gray and green. This grand room leads out to the terrace through several sliding glass doors. The sea is an omnipresent backdrop throughout the house. The well-equipped kitchen is off the main room and it features a sea view in addition to its upscale appliances. On this floor, a large corridor leads to 4 bedrooms, with the 5th found upstairs. All of the bedrooms are decorated with great finesse and elegance, creating minimalist interior completed by the constant sea views. The bedding is new and of high quality, promising an excellent night’s rest. The bathrooms are designed in the same manner as their respective bedrooms, focusing on upscale materials and contemporary comfort. Outside, perched on the hillside between sky and sea, the 120 m² terrace offers a breathtaking view of the “Eagle’s Beak” and the surrounding nature. Meals served on the terrace are immediately enhanced by the magic of this unique setting. The swimming pool found below, framed by sunbaked stone, olive groves and cypress trees and facing the ever-present sea. A large pergola shades the upper terrace, an invitingly shady spot for an afternoon nap. Finally, the 2.5-hectare property completes this magical destination. The grounds are a hymn to the landscape of Provence, with lush Mediterranean vegetation and centuries-old olive and oak trees.
