Welcome to this magnificent house in Montuiri, located in a 16th century convent, with large outdoor areas, gardens and an extraordinary pool. It is prepared for 10 persons +4 extra.
The spectacular outdoor area counts with a huge garden with large terraces, from which to contemplate the mountains and Mallorcan nature. There is a 12m x 5m saltwater pool (depth between 0.9m-1.7m). Relax on one of the 12 sun loungers or in the chill-out and barbque area.
This 570m2 2-storey house is a real gem of Mallorcan rural architecture, as it conserves many historical and traditional elements that give it even more charm. It counts with 6 bedrooms. There are 5 bedrooms on the 1st floor: 4 with a double bed (of which 2 have an en-suite bathroom: 1 with a shower and 1 with a hydromassage bath tub; the other two bedrooms are connected to eachother) and 1 with two individual beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The 2 ground floor bedrooms (one with a double bed and another with 2 individual beds) stay closed for reservations up to 10 persons. There is one bathroom with a shower for general use on the groundfloor, and one guestroom on the first floor. On request, there is a baby bed and a highchair available.
On the ground floor, there is an independent kitchen with a gas stove and a dining table for 8 persons. Connected to the kitchen, there is a typical Mallorcan manor house dining room, with historical decoration, which counts with another dining table for 6.
On the first floor, there is a big, luminous living room with a sofa and arm chairs, satellite TV, a wood stove. Besides, there is a study, on the 1st floor, with a study table and some chairs.
The house is situated at little more than 1km from Montuïri, in a privileged rural environment. It has good access to diferent sites of interest. In Montuïri you will find anything you need during your stay. The Museum Son Fornés is definitely worth a visit: it is situated in a 18th century flour mill and exhibits pottery and bone-, stone- and bronze tools from the megalithic stage. You also might like to visit the archaeologic site of Son Fornés or the oratory “Mare de Déu de la Bona Pau”, situated on top of the 259m high hill Puig de Sant Miquel.
There are lots of wonderfull beaches nearby, as, for example, the beach of Sa Ràpita, at 27km.
