Property for exclusive use
The château was long the residence of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Leopold II, and many period furnishings and paintings have survived to enrich this splendid residence. It's a must for groups of refined friends and lovers of beauty. A week in the life of a châtelain, with a staff at your disposal, in an ancient dimension but with all modern comforts. Like all Tuscan castles, this one is built on a hill overlooking a partly cultivated plain. The backdrop is the sea, with San Vincenzo, the famous seaside resort of the Etruscan riviera, close by, and further afield lies the delightful Gulf of Baratti with its Etruscan remains, which can sometimes also be seen against the backdrop of the crystal-clear sea. A beautiful park with flower-filled terraces surrounds the castle, and a lovely cypress and pine avenue creates an evocative entrance to your vacation home. Just below is the swimming pool with hydro-massage tub (12x6 depth 1.4-2 m) (29/05-31/10 open from 08:00 to 20:00) with changing room, WC and perfect garden equipment. In a separate area you'll find an open-air breakfast area with armchairs for relaxing and enjoying the view over the garden. If, after a few days' rest, you'd like to go on some excursions, you'll be spoilt for choice: Populonia, rich in Etruscan remains, Massa Marittima, Suvereto, Bolgheri and its exceptional wines, Castagneto Carducci and many more. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning and safe. Wi fi internet connection and baby cot available. Included in the price (for weekly rentals) 5 days/week of domestic help for bedrooms and living rooms, mid-week change of bed linen, towels and pool towels.

ATTENTION: arrivals must take place between 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm. For arrivals after 7:00 pm, a supplement of 200 euros will be charged. A secured credit card must be presented on arrival. The first floor of the château is used as a reception area for guests. A home shopping service and catering service (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are available on request and payable on site. When guests lunch or dine in the chateau, breakfast service is included in the price. During their stay, guests can use the kitchen and prepare their own meals. If the kitchen is used, a compulsory cleaning charge will be applied (80 euros per meal): breakfast: 8:00-10:00, lunch: 12:30-14:30, dinner: 19:30-21:30.
ACCOMMODATION: (1500 m2) Ground floor: large entrance hall with many paintings hanging on the walls, small sitting room with secretary, living room with fireplace and bar area, small sitting room (satellite TV, DVD player), large dining room with a smaller room for breakfasts, kitchen, WC. The second floor is accessed via two different staircases.
