In the historic centre of a Catalan village, in Conflent, on the northern foothills of Canigou, classified as a major site in France within the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees, the gîte is located on the 1st floor of our house with an independent entrance.
Equipped with all comforts, the cottage is quiet and very bright, and includes a kitchen (dishwasher, micro one, coffee maker, toaster, oven, hob, washing machine), a lounge or additional bedroom (sofa bed), a double bedroom, a bedroom with 3 single beds, a bathroom, heating with wood stove, garden, barbecue.
There are many areas of interest available to you:
Walks, hikes, high mountains, canyons, mountain biking, climbing. On site, possibilities of guided mountain outings, organization of stays, raids, treks........
Romanesque art, Abbey of St Michel de Cuxa and St Martin du Canigou, Villefranche du Conflent fortified town of Vauban
Pablo Casals Festival, Prades Film Festival, many festivals, local markets.
Less than an hour away, the city of Perpignan, the coves and Catalan beaches.
Andorra, the ski slopes just an hour's drive away.
On site, you will find many guides and brochures and we will be happy to advise you in your choices.
Don't forget that all linen is provided: sheets, duvets, household and bathroom linen. A washing machine will allow you to manage your luggage as well as possible!
Generally speaking, rentals are scheduled from Saturday 3pm to Saturday 12pm but do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to rent for a few days or if your request is specific.
