Very nice holiday home located in a very quiet area of a beautiful wine village in the Minervois. The house is spacious and the rooms are very well distributed. The beautiful swimming pool will be for you a place of relaxation and family fun. You are here 14 kilometres from the town of Narbonne, the ancient capital of Gallo-Roman Gaul, which was crossed by the Via Domicia linking Rome to Spain. The sea and the fine sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are only 25 km away. The Canal du Midi, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only 10 minutes away from the holiday rental, the nautical base of Argens en Minervois is only 10 km away with the possibility of renting small boats for beautiful walks along the water. 5 minutes away, the Somail lock and its facilities illustrate perfectly what the Canal du Midi was like when the engineer Paul Riquet built it. (18th century). The river Aude is only 5 minutes away from the house with the possibility of beautiful fishing. Carcassonne and its medieval city, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 48 km away and will delight history buffs. The blaze of July 14 is an unforgettable spectacle. You are also 25 km from the foothills of the Black Mountain, an area criss-crossed by numerous hiking trails and of course accessible to mountain bikes. The house is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
