This holiday home is located in the middle of the natural scenery of the Aude. Near the house there's a beautiful, even lawn that is ideal for soaking up the sun on one of your own loungers or playing a game of jeu-de-boules. The Dutch owners live on the same premises (real connoisseurs of the region!), their section is secluded by a hedge and they have a separate driveway, so you can enjoy maximum privacy. The one-level house itself is cozy and comfortable, and decorated in modern style. You can eat outside on the spacious terrace in front of the house! A barbecue and garden furniture are at your disposal!
The house is located in the village of Belvianes-et-Cavirac, 3 km away from the quaint town of Quillan where you can find grocery stores, cozy restaurants, shops, bicycles and a market. Near the house flows the Aude river, where it's wonderful to have a picknick and wade through the water. For those who are looking for a bit more action, there is a departure point for water rafting!
Da Vinci Code enthousiasts should not miss a visit to the mysterious Rennes-le-Château (20 km) and the famous Cathar castle Montségur (45 km), where it is said the holy grail is hidden (the house owner loves to tell you all about it!).).
