Beautifully restored gîte, perfect for couples. The gîte is located nearby the old 'bastide' Villefranche du Perigord, in the most southern tip of the Dordogne, not far from the Lot and Lot et Garonne regions.
This area is characterised by the many forests, lovely valleys and rolling meadows that gradually slope into the valley of the river Lot. Some of the most famous wineries of France, producing the well-known Cahors wines, are located there.
This gîte is situated in a peaceful location just outside the forest, and has a private terrace, a living room, kitchen-diner, bathroom with shower and a bedroom. The living room is very spacious and tastefully furnished.
You'll also have a large swimming pool with a pool house at your disposal.
The owners and their 2 Great Dane dogs live in the same complex, but they always make sure that guests have complete privacy.
Should you have any questions though, they'd be happy to help you.
During the summer months, there are numerous culinary markets and flea markets and there's plenty to see for culture enthusiasts too, including the Château de Bonaguil, Sarlat, Puy L'eveque and the town centre of Cahors.
