This renovated farmhouse is located on the edge of a vineyard, on an estate which is scattered around the village. The village is situated at 250 metres altitude and is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.
From the terrace, you'll enter the kitchen, which will offer you splendid views across the surroundings. Because of this view, they put in a bigger window in the kitchen during the renovation. There are plenty of options for sitting out and enjoying the sun all around the house. You can cool down in the swimming pool, which is hidden in the vineyard and is shared with the other guests on the estate.
It's a 1 km-walk through the vineyard to the nearest village, where you can find shops. The Garfagnana is one of the most famous foothills of the Apennines. Enjoy the peace, tranquility and beautiful scenery. Art and culture lovers are also in the right place; the town of Lucca is only 18 km away, Pisa is 10 km further on and Florence is easily accessible as well. On the other side of the mountain range are the Mediterranean Sea and the impressive marble quarries of Massa Carrara.
Bicycles (on request), sauna and Turkish bath are available at just 1,5 km from the house.
