Come and experience a "Nature & Terroir" stay in Pays de Bray at Ferme de Grémonval. This large property was once part of the Château de Mesnières-en-Bray. In 1975, Fabienne and François took over the family business of dairy cows and veal calves. Then one day, François discovered an injured wild boar in the nearby forest. He brings it back to the farm, nurses it back to health, and the whole family adopts it. Thus began the breeding of wild boar, which later expanded to include hinds and daguets (young stags). It's incredible to see these animals, which are usually rarely seen in the woods, evolve. Some are even tame. François will show you around the farm, and Fabienne will treat you to a feast of terrines, cheeses, cider and apple pie.
Fabienne loves to entertain, so it was only natural that she should open a gîte in 1997. A former decorator, metalworker and painter in her spare time, she welcomes you to a Norman house "arranged in her own way", set back from the farm. She suggests that you spend autumn at the gîte, when the forest glows red and you can hear the stag bellowing. You can relax by the fire and stroll along the surrounding paths. And the sea is only 25 km away. La Ferme de Grémonval offers you an exotic, gourmet holiday, between land and sea, on the edge of the forest, close to the animals.
