Tony and Angélique welcome you to Camping Le Clos de Banes, located in Aveyron, south of the Massif Central. It's a large country house dating from the 18th century. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, we invite you to enjoy a memorable stay at our campsite in Argences en Aubrac.

Located between Rodez and Aurillac, Camping Le Clos de Banes is the ideal destination for a relaxing or sporty vacation! Theme evenings are organized in season. To relax, head for the campsite bar or swimming pool!
Description of the region
Rodez is a city steeped in history, dating back to the 5th century BC. The town is full of buildings, houses, squares, castles and places of worship that are listed and protected by the French government. The richness of its heritage has earned Rodez the "Villes et pays d'art et d'histoire" (Towns and countries of art and history) label, and a commission is currently working on an application to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Rodez is best known for its numerous religious buildings, each more beautiful than the last. Rodez is a dynamic cultural center, particularly renowned for its "Estivada" festival, which showcases Occitan culture. The festival offers a wide range of activities (dance, reading, music, sport, etc.). Gastronomy is very important, and you can enjoy local specialities at the markets held 2-3 times a week, or in the restaurants in the town center.
