In the beautiful landscape there are numerous opportunities for recreation, such as pristine forests with numerous opportunities for hiking and biking, plenty of water with quietly located swimming spots. You will also find many small and large towns in the area, which are always worth a visit. In and around Alt-Sammit you will find suitable offers for recreation for every taste.
Bathing, hiking, cycling, fishing, water sports, horseback riding or carriage rides are ideally possible here, and in autumn you can pick mushrooms. The international cycling route Berlin Copenhagen passes directly through Alt-Sammit. Discovering nature is still a real adventure in our surroundings, which are rich in forests and lakes.
There is always something going on in the neighboring villages and the towns in the region. Excursions to Krakow am See, Güstrow or Rostock are the perfect combination of recreation and cultural education.
