In Brittany, 1km from the beaches, this adorable and genuine fisherman's house has been renovated into a charming holiday rental.
Quite typical, this small independent house offers a warm interior, dominated by wood and light, and nestles in a large wooded grounds with a beautiful flower garden. Situated in Plouha, in the former Pays de Saint-Brieuc, in the department of Côtes-d'Armor, it will be ideal for a couple with a child, and you will enjoy the peace and quiet of this magnificent region.
North of Saint-Quay-Portrieux, you will discover the splendid cliffs of Armor, the highest cliffs in Brittany, visible at the Pointe de Plouha, along a rocky coast famous for its secret creeks, its birds, its port.
At the Palus beach, take the GR34, a former customs officers' path, to enjoy the panorama over the bay of Saint-Brieuc, particularly impressive in the evening, in the light of the lighthouses.
At Binic-Etables-sur-mer, 15km away, discover a picturesque port, go out on a sailing boat or catamaran, rent a bike, and finally, enjoy a traditional pancake with a bowl of cider on the water's edge.
For a bit of culture, don't miss, west of Plouha, which hosts a lively market every Wednesday, the 13th century chapel of Kermaria-an-Iskuit, whose frescoes represent a singular "danse macabre" on 47 different paintings (beware, they can frighten the youngest!)
