Pretty typical stone holiday house, in the hills 2 km from the small village of Castel del Piano. This house is divided into two separate dwellings, not connected to each other by the inside. After a long day of visits, rest on the large covered terrace with barbecue or in the pretty swimming pool. The small villages of Monte Amiata are a must: stroll through the picturesque little streets and admire the squares of Seggiano, Piancastagnaio and Arcidosso. Everywhere you can taste local specialities such as wild boar-based goulash or dishes with mushrooms, picked from the surrounding forests. The region, thanks to its pleasant summer temperatures, is ideal for hiking in the forests or walking along the coast, admiring the long beaches (about an hour's drive), and swimming in the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni, San Filippo or Saturnia. One last tip: visit the Montecucco wine cellars. Baby bed available on request. Access to the house is not paved.
