GROUND FLOOR: spacious, elegant entrance hall; two large, welcoming living rooms; a dining room with table seating 10/12 people; 1 double bedroom with queen-sized bed with canopy (160x200) and en suite bathroom; 1 double bedroom (180x200), en suite bathroom with shower; air conditioning and satellite TV with Sky channels.
FIRST FLOOR: 1 twin bedroom (beds 90x200) with en suite bathroom; 1 double bedroom (160x195) with en suite bathroom that can be shared with 1 single bedroom which can be furnished as a changing room on request; 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, satellite TV with Sky and air conditioning; large library with fireplace and Sky satellite TV, DVD and CD player, Hi-Fi stereo and minibar; central reception room with terraces and panoramic view.
All the bedrooms without air conditioning are fitted with ceiling fans. The bathrooms with a bathtub have been adapted to include shower cubicles.
LOWER FLOOR: large, well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the garden which is furnished for eating “al fresco”; breakfast room; laundry room.Preparation of breakfast from 8.00 – 10.00 a.m. (ingredients purchased to be paid for on the premises at end of stay). 2 sets of bathroom linen per week. Welcome dinner with cold pasta salad, salad, cheese and fruit.This is one of the most authentic villas in the Lucca area, going back to the 17th century, and has preserved the refinement and elegance of that historical period. The owners live in the house during the winter, but leave all of the precious furnishings in the villa when it is given over to guests. Antique furniture, paintings and 18th century objects along with luxurious materials and curtains. The grounds, which are completely enclosed, are shaped by paths bordered with flowerbeds, scented rose-gardens and tall trees, and in the upper part is a 6x14m swimming-pool, well-equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, shower and gazebo. Beyond the grounds there is also a property with over 20 hectacres of olive trees. The villa has satellite-TV, stereo with CD player, broad-band internet connection, laundry and domestic staff who, besides cleaning the house can also prepare you lunch or dinner. The villa lies about 6 kms from the centre of Lucca and from the entrance to the motorway which leads to Florence (75 kms) or to the versilian coast (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi) 35 kms away. The airport at Pisa is about 18 kms away. Lucca and its area offer may cultural and sightseeing attractions along with the regions gastronomic traditions and the DOC wines produced in the Montecarlo area.Chef service: € 18.00 per hour. Table waiting service € 10.00 per hour. Additional linen changes: bathroom linen € 15.00 per person; bed linen € 20.00 per person. Babysitter: € 15.00 per hour.
