- General description of the campsite:
Welcome to the Landes! Ready to breathe the fresh air?
Camping Sandaya Sanguinet Plage 5* (formerly Les Grands Pins), nestled on the shores of Lake Biscarrosse-Sanguinet, awaits you in the heart of a region with an exceptional historical and natural heritage.
Water activities on the lake opposite ? energizing swimming or surfing in Biscarrosse-Plage? climbing on the nearby Dune du Pyla? Oyster tasting on the banks of the superb Arcachon basin? Visit of the most beautiful Bordeaux vineyards? Hiking, bicycles, swimming or simply relaxing? everything is... boring here? Never! Never!
The campsite offers a very nice aquatic area with an indoor swimming pool as well as an outdoor area with a swimming pool, paddling pool, bubble bath, fun slides and a large "Aqua Caraïbes" play area. In short, pleasure, sensations, happiness for young and old, without forgetting the essential deckchairs to switch between rest and swimming.
In addition, there are the essential activities and entertainment, the children's club and the catering services providing all kinds of delicacies.
In any season, holidays under the tall pines are really good!
- Description of the Aquatic Space:
The aquatic area offers a 60 m² heated indoor swimming pool and outside a 190 m² unheated swimming pool to cool off in the summer afternoons, a 60 m² heated paddling pool, a bubble bath and of course the temperate "Aqua Caraïbe" area with its many fun games full of sensations and 50 m of slides.
Dates and opening hours of the aquatic area:
- From 06/04 to 14/09 from 10am to 7pm.
NB: Swimming or beach shorts are prohibited. Only sticky lycra swimsuits are accepted. Wearing the bracelet is mandatory. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Depth of the pools from 1.20 to 1.55m.
All this without forgetting the immediate proximity of Lake Biscarrosse (road to cross) to enjoy the joys of swimming and water sports in fresh and warm water (between 23 and 26° in summer).
- Animations:
In low season (from 06/04 to 30/06 and from 01 to 14/09), point of activities, the campsite offers you an environment that favours calm and rest.
In July/August, the heart of the campsite comes alive and many activities led by the animation team are offered to you: Group sport, gym, petanque, playful activities, with family or friends, let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of your campsite during the day and in the evening.
Children's club: from 5 to 12 years old, 5 days a week in July and August only: Manual workshops, board games, treasure hunts, sand castle competitions...
Teenagers club: from 13 to 17 years old (July - August only): sports tournaments, games on the beach, board games...
Many activities are available on site: Games room, table football, billiards, table tennis (free), chess (free), checkers games (free), beach volleyball tournament (free), handball (free), petanque court (free), multisports court (free), tennis court (5 €/hour), bicycle rental (with supplement)...
Opposite the campsite (road to cross), Lake Sanguinet/Biscarrosse allows you to enjoy the nautical base which offers a wide range of activities with participation: windsurfing, paddle, canoeing, funboat and other catamarans for hours of safe sliding.

- Services available on site:
For your comfort, the many catering services are open all season long: a drink at the bar, a good meal in the restaurant, a snack for your ice cream, pizzas and other delicacies? You have a lot of choices. Schedules vary according to the season period.
The grocery store is generally open from mid-April to mid-September to offer you basic necessities. You can find a hot spot with bread and pastries baked on site.
To stay connected in complete peace of mind, wifi packages are available throughout the campsite (prices of the various options at the reception).
Collective charcoal barbecue areas are available at different locations on the campsite. The grids are provided, the coal is the responsibility of the customer).

The proximity of the bungalows is really too little, if not non-existent. Less than a meter past the stairs to the next tenant is too little, unless you enjoy eating your meals on the terrace while listening to your neighbor poop. That's probably why our toilet window was blocked to keep our neighbors from smelling us.
