THE HOLIDAY VILLAGE
A seaside resort on the south coast of the Ile de Ré, Le Bois-Plage boasts 6 km of beaches, which hide behind their dunes a vast wooded area ideal for long walks. A variety of cycle paths will take you through the whole territory, discovering the authenticity of each of the nine other villages. BoisPlage, with its winding alleys lined with hollyhocks, is bustling with shops and, in season, a daily market - the biggest on the island - where you can stroll and linger. The Village Océanique features bungalows, chalets and mobile homes in an 11-hectare park planted with trees and flowers.
In the heart of the pine forest, a heated swimming pool, 3 tennis courts, a fitness area and a multisport field are all available, and a motivated entertainment team offers a variety of discovery outings throughout the season. Antioche beach is a 20-minute walk away. On Gros-Jonc beach, the sailing school offers surf, paddle and windsurf lessons and rentals, and 6 km away, in Sainte Marie en Ré, a thalasso center awaits holidaymakers. The accommodation was functional and we had an excellent stay, for the negative points of the accommodation it lacked a good clean, cobwebs and a little comfort, no small lounge. The club is far from the beach wood, you really need bikes to get around. Apart from these small inconveniences my teenagers and my daughter loved the atmosphere of the club and the top entertainment, family spirit, calm, perfect snack services, I really enjoyed our stay
