Welcome basket: water, milk, coffee, fresh fruit, cookies.Villa Ornina is situated in the centre of a 15-hectare estate, where organic vineyards and olive trees grow, amidst the Casentino hills, a hilly territory covered with rich green forests between Florence and Arezzo. This area is a bit more "hidden" compared to the more well-known areas in Tuscany, but capable of offering beautiful surprises thanks to its splendid landscape, the beauty of its nature, the wealth of its historic-artistic testimonies and for the large variety of possible itineraries for those who love sport (mountain-biking, trekking, horse-back riding, etc.). The house, an ancient perfectly-restored farmhouse, offers spacious, comfortable areas, both indoors and outdoors. The entire ground floor has direct accesses to the garden, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms get a lot of sunlight and each has its own private bathroom. The furnishings are very well kept and very tasteful, with period pieces and valuable beds and wrought-iron objects, original and artistic. Outside are green lawns, cool furnished shaded areas under the trees, a small annexe with a kitchen, covered barbecue and wood-burning oven, excellent for cooking pizzas, a veranda furnished for outdoor dining and going down a few stairs, a beautiful swimming pool of 6x12m, with jacuzzi for relaxing and body massages. Both the house and its outdoor areas offer a panorama of green hills as far as the eye can see, a re-generating source of peace and relaxation. The many details of this beautiful house create a very special and cosy atmosphere. The location is perfect for visiting the Chianti area as well as the major cities in Tuscan, while just 20 minutes away is a Golf Club.
