In the heart of the Mayenne bocage, in a hilly landscape, you'll appreciate this pleasant 18th-century farmhouse surrounded by a private, fully enclosed landscaped garden.
La Closerie de la Vergée features large rooms: a 32m² living room with wood-burning stove, 3 bedrooms (15 to 22m²), 5 beds in total (2*140 and 3*90). The kitchen is fully equipped. The covered courtyard lets you play ping-pong, swings or Dutch billiards. To make the most of the outdoors, the garden furniture is complete, including the masonry charcoal barbecue. The little ones can play in the sandpit (buckets and spades available) and discover farm activities with Claudine and Romain, the owners.
As soon as you arrive, you'll be welcomed with farm-fresh produce!
Discover the surrounding countryside on foot or by bike: 8 bikes are available, 5 for adults and 3 for children.
Shops are 7km away in Gorron. In Désertine (3km) you have access to bread and fresh produce vending machines.
For your leisure activities, 7km away, the Colmont leisure park offers tree courses (from 4 years and adults), paintball, swin golf, laser game, kayaking and mountain bike hire. Kayak and mountain bike mini-raids available on reservation. Open from April to October.
The Renaudies garden at Colombier du Plessis is a must-see, with its English-inspired garden, eco-museum and ephemeral maze in summer (12km).
