La Grande Reignière is just the place for you. It's a beautiful stone house, surrounded by a fully enclosed landscaped garden overlooking the surrounding fields.
Near the house, a 450 m² lake, nicely enclosed, for fishing carp, roach or pike. Leave the water's edge with the boat! [hidden] The 2nd 900 m² pond, 400 m away on foot, offers a different fishing environment.
You'll appreciate the large dining room/kitchen with its fireplace, the large living room, and the 4 bedrooms, all with comfortable beds. Each room has its own sink. A shower is accessible to all. The master bedroom has its own private shower room. The gîte is equipped with WIFI and TV.
For activities outside the gîte, you're just 4 km from the Colmont leisure park (canoeing, tree climbing, swin golf, paintball, bike hire - book before you come). Ambrières-les-Vallées has a swimming pool in summer.
And of course, you can enjoy the wild Colmont river, a 1st category river for fishing. Indeed, the Colmont valley is one of the most picturesque areas of the Mayenne.
Hiking enthusiasts: this area is criss-crossed by numerous hiking trails of all distances.
In Ambrières-les-Vallées, you'll find the towpath known as the "Vélofrancette", voted best cycling route, with its own right-of-way for almost 100% of the route. Other activities include mini-golf, pedalos and horseback riding.
Don't miss the Jardin des Renaudies in Colombiers du Plessis, which you can visit or book for weddings and receptions. Monsieur Renault is the creator of the Vanille-Fraise hydrangea paniculata. A little further on, the Jardin de la Pellerine, a remarkable private garden of exceptional diversity.
The town of Mayenne, with its castle, shops and river, is 20 km away. The owners will be happy to help you discover and visit local farms and farm produce.
From Brécé, you can reach Mont Saint Michel in 1 hour, or make a round trip in a day. A day trip can also take you to spectacular sites such as Fougères and its castle, the Chatelier floral park and Lassay-les-Châteaux and its rose garden.
Pets welcome, €5 per night. Your accommodation comprises: Ground floor: a living room with open-plan fitted kitchen (26m²), a large living room (23m²) where everyone can meet up, a study with a 90cm extra bed to accommodate an extra person. Upstairs, a master suite with a 160cm bed and an 18m² shower room, 3 bedrooms with 2 90cm beds each, an independent shower and a toilet.
Children's play equipment is available, including a trampoline and a swing in the shade of the weeping willow.
In the garden, you'll find a covered play area and a terrace, as well as the natural shade of the trees.
The gîte is close to a working dairy farm.
Included : Linen - towels - beds made on arrival.
Optional : cleaning 80€/ stay from 1 to 14 nights (compulsory for professionals)
Oil-fired heating for €15 per night from October 15 to April 15.
