In the heart of nature, enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside in our old Champagne farmhouse, renovated as an ecological gîte and awarded the "Clé Verte" label.
Our farm is located in a quiet hamlet surrounded by forests and meadows, ideal for hiking, cycling or nature-watching, and very close to Lac du Der with its many activities (5 km).
We've renovated this timber-framed farmhouse using traditional local architecture and ecological materials that are healthier and more respectful of the environment. The sober and meticulous decoration provides a warm atmosphere in an authentic setting, but with all modern comforts.
- Ground floor: large, fully-equipped kitchen (wood-burning stove, TV), living room (sofa bed, TV, Bluray), 2 private bedrooms (beds 140x190), bathroom and separate toilet.
- Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (2 beds 180X200 or 4 beds 90X200), a living area with 2 sofa beds (TV, DVD) and a baby cot with mosquito net.
Capacity: 2 épis approved for 6 people, our gîte can accommodate extra people (€10 per person/day for more than 6 and up to 8).
At your disposal: a large reserved parking area in the farmyard, a secure storage room, a sheltered hangar (not enclosed) for trailer parking, a private terrace with barbecue and 500 m² of lawn (not enclosed), a spice and flower bed, as well as vast common green spaces consisting of an orchard, a garden and a wooded plot of magnificent oak trees with huts, hammocks... With a little patience, you'll be able to watch deer feeding in our donkey's enclosure, and if you're lucky, they'll pass right in front of your terrace! ELECTRICITY AND WOOD:8KWH electricity offered/day, beyond that pay supplement on site.Wood: 60 € per stere (Estimate depending on consumption30€ on average/[hidden]eglish on site.

- Hifi: 3 flat-screen TVs, 1 CD/DVD player, 1 Bluray/DVD player, radio.
- Telephone: unlimited calls to landlines in France (on request for mobiles and abroad).
- Internet (free): WIFI and network socket (RJ45).
- Appliances (modern and economical): ceramic hob, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, pancake/raclette maker, waffle maker, iron and ironing board...
- Bedding: recent mattresses (comforters and pillows supplied, linen on request).
- Heating: electric radiators and high-performance wood-burning stove.
- Safety: enclosed storage room, smoke and monoxide detectors, guardrails.
- Children's play equipment: gantry, bikes, scooters, board games, books, DVDs, toys...
LIVING ENVIRONMENT :
- Equipment provided: household materials and products, compulsory selective sorting, basic food and sanitary products provided, essential oil diffuser, non-smoking.
- Animals on site: 1 donkey, 3 cats, 3 hens (possibility of renting an electrified pen for your animals).
- Promotion of garden and local produce: vegetables, fruit, fruit juices, wine, champagne, beer, eggs, milk, etc.
ECOTOURISM:
We respect the environmental charter for ecological and sustainable tourism, with strict specifications for the Clef Verte label: reinforced insulation, renovation using ecological materials, energy-saving appliances, use of ecological household products, selective waste sorting, monitoring and limiting energy consumption, rainwater recovery.60 € compulsory cleaning. Bed linen for 1 person, towels and household linen: 12 €. Bed linen for 2 people, towels and household linen: €24. Pets accepted: €30 supplement to be paid to the owner on arrival.
- The young and available owner will welcome you in person to visit the property. An inventory of fixtures will be made on arrival and departure.
- Hours (flexible on request): arrival at 6 pm / departure at 9 am in very high season.
Please let me know your preferred arrival time, bearing in mind that you may arrive earlier and/or leave later if the accommodation is available, but only with my prior agreement. Late arrivals are possible with a code box to collect the keys.
