Villa Torresassa is a splendid detached villa with private swimming pool set in a wonderful hilly landscape between San Gimignano and Volterra. Just 500 meters away, the village of Iano is a true haven of peace, combining a relaxing atmosphere with all the amenities of a village: bar, restaurant, grocery store within walking distance. Your morning stroll for groceries and a cappuccino will get your day off to a good start, and among the locals you'll feel part of the community. The possibilities for day trips are endless between the towns of San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa and Volterra, to name but a few. For horse-riding enthusiasts, the owner offers, on request, the possibility of excursions on horseback to discover our spectacular hills. Golfers can also enjoy an 18-hole round of golf at the magnificent Castelfalfi course. The villa has been restored in keeping with traditional Tuscan rural features, with particular attention to finishing touches. Every room has been furnished and decorated with great care, as has the large garden and swimming pool. The swimming pool (12x6m; depth 1-1.40m)(25/04-31/10) is located on a terrace below the villa and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The villa has Wi-fi Internet access and all rooms are air-conditioned. On request and payable locally: domestic help and cot. PLEASE NOTE: pets accepted on request for a supplement of 75 euros/week/pet (not accepted in high season). Separate garbage collection obligatory (for non-separate collection, 50 euros/week will be charged).
ACCOMMODATION: (270 m2): Ground floor: living/dining room (satellite TV) featuring large picture windows offering splendid views of the outside and opening onto a large terrace equipped with table and chairs for dining or relaxing outside, kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, American coffee maker, Italian "moka" coffee maker, 4 double bedrooms each with bathroom (shower). 1st Et. 2 double bedrooms each with bathroom (shower). All double beds can be separated. Air conditioning in bedrooms.
DISTANCES: 500 m Iano (food stores, restaurants, minimarket), 16 km Montaione (all shops), 20 km San Gimignano and Volterra, 65 km Cecina (beaches) and Siena.
