Authentic 230-square-meter Landes house with wooded garden and private pool, close to Lac de Léon and the beaches.
I'm delighted to welcome you to my charming 230-square-meter home with SWIMMING POOL and wooded garden, not overlooked and suitable for twelve people. It's ideally located in a quiet area just a 10-minute walk from the town center, where you'll find all the shops, restaurants and bars. What's more, the famous Lac de Léon, one of the largest in the Landes region, is just a 10-minute walk from the villa, giving you the opportunity to discover its emblematic sites during your vacation.
Accommodation
Welcome to la maison 'chocolatine Furnished 4-star holiday home ! It comprises six bedrooms: three on the ground floor and three upstairs. Each of the six rooms has its own atmosphere and unique character, with meticulous decoration and authentic furnishings! This Landes house has been completely renovated and refurbished over the past 30 years by a skilled carpenter, and is full of surprises!
On the ground floor, you can choose between the oriental-style "blue" room with a 160 x 200 bed, the more earthy "beige" room with a 160 x 200 bed, and the 3rd, the "exotic" room with its plants painted on the wall, again with a 160 x 200 double bed. All rooms are equipped with beautiful wardrobes or built-in storage units in the style of these rooms. A very large tiled and wood-panelled bathroom with double basins, bath and shower is located on this level. The ground floor also includes a large fully-equipped kitchen, where the mix of old and new is in perfect harmony, with all the modern equipment you'll need, and a dining room opening onto the kitchen for meals with family or friends. A large living room with widescreen TV and authentic fireplace completes the description of this level.
On the second floor, three other beautiful bedrooms are distributed as follows: the "children's" bedroom with its glass roof features 2 single beds 120 x 190, the "lando-basquaise" bedroom with white and red accents and a 160 x 200 bed, and finally, the "Belle Epoque" bedroom with 2 single beds 0.80 x 190, so named for its cozy pink aspect and its antique furniture.
The second floor is accessed by a beautiful staircase that opens onto the kitchen, where you'll find a second large living room with a lounge and large-screen TV. Upstairs, you'll find a study area, a slate bathroom and a wooden door that reveals itself to you unexpectedly.
Each of the three bedrooms on each level opens onto these spacious living areas, allowing you to have two houses in one, as well as total independence if necessary!
As you can see, you'll be staying in a unique home with plenty of surprises for your enjoyment and comfort!
What's more, the villa is ideal for work and co-working sessions!
A SWIMMING POOL and a relaxation area with deckchairs, outdoor kitchen and barbecue area will be at your disposal. The GARDEN will also be much appreciated on sunny days.
The property is just 8 minutes from the Là Haut Aventure Park. Its location also gives you the chance to explore the Courant d'Huchet Nature Reserve with friends and family, just 3 min from Lac de Léon, ideal for canoeing, lounging on the lake and fishing. The ocean is just a 10-minute drive away, where you can enjoy the waves or discover the joys of surfing. You can also rent bicycles for all your travel needs.

Location
A tourist town in the Landes region of France, Léon is located 6 km from the ocean, 30 minutes from Bayonne and 50 min by car from Biarritz. The lake is ideal for canoeing, paddling and fishing. Lac de Léon is ideal for young children, with its sandy beach. Discover the nature reserve that stretches as far as Moliets on the Huchet stream in a boat guided by the boatmen. Directly from the house, there's an almost private path at the back that takes you there in a 10-minute walk!
In summer, the market with Landes produce is held every day in the village square, a 10-minute walk from the villa. Léon is a lively town, with shops open all year round, including a fishmonger, bakeries, butchers, a wine cellar, a cinema and a cultural center!
Even today, Léon is appreciated for its unspoilt landscape, its many leisure activities and its respect for Landes traditions, both in terms of sports and gastronomy. The nearest beach is only 6 kilometers away and is the beautiful, authentic beach of "la Lette Blanche" in the commune of Vielle Saint Girons, but you also have the beaches of Moliets, at a similar distance, large and beautiful beaches of fine sand and dune zones, typical of the Landes.
The famous Vélodysée, the long-distance cycle path that crosses France from Nantes to Hendaye, is just 5 minutes away and offers easy rides through pine forests.
