➽ THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You'll be staying downtown, just a 5-minute walk from l'Ecusson, Montpellier's historic center with its medieval streets ideal for shopping in new neighborhoods combining natural spaces and buildings designed by leading international architects.
Place de la Comédie, the emblematic heart of Montpellier, is just a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
The Ecusson is also a cultural area, with the historic Opera House on Place de la Comédie, founded in 1755. To the north of the Ecusson are the Palais des Congrès, the Beaux Arts district and the Opéra Berlioz (le Corum). The Musée Fabre, close to the esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle, is also a must-see for art lovers.
The main squares to visit are just a 10-minute walk away: Place de la Comédie, Place de la Canourgue, Place du Marché aux fleurs, Place Jean Jaurès, Place Saint-Anne, Place Saint-Côme, Place de la Babote.
Many small, lively shopping streets. These mazes of pedestrian streets are ideal for discovering old Montpellier, taking your time and enjoying a coffee on the terrace of one of the many restaurants.
Our advice for discovering them? Forget your plan, and get lost in these narrow streets. The program includes shopping in boutiques with vaulted ceilings, home to designers, antique dealers and tearooms... a trip back in time!
If you're traveling by train, you'll be able to make the most of your stay right up to the last minute, as the apartment is just 2 minutes from the station.

➽ TRANSPORT
→ CAR: The apartment is very convenient if you come by car (unlike other apartments located in the Ecusson, Montpellier's historic, pedestrian center). You can park on the street just in front of the building or in the public parking lot 2 minutes away (opposite the train station).
→ TRAIN: Even more convenient if you're coming by train, as the station is literally a 2-minute walk away! Take the "Pont de Sète" exit on the upper level of the station and you'll be home in just a 2 min walk!
→ TRAMWAY: Finally, all 4 streetcar lines are nearby. The nearest station is "Gare Saint Roch" or "Place Carnot" for line 3 (which will take you directly to the beach in 30 minutes!).
→ PLANE: If you arrive by plane :
take Navette Aéroport line 120
get off at the "Place de l'Europe" stop
take Tramway line N°1 (blue line) towards "Mosson".
get off at the "Gare Saint Roch" stop
from there, it's a 5-minute walk.
→ PARKING:
To park, you have several options:
1. On the street:
Pay parking is available every day from 9am to 6pm, except Sundays and public holidays (rate €4 for up to 4 hours).
