Welcome to our fully renovated house "La Hutière", ideally located in the heart of Liré/Orée d'Anjou.
Liré owes its reputation to its world-famous poet "Joachim du Bellay": the ruins of the house where he was born in the 12th century are still a popular destination for walks in the Parc de la Turmelière.
A museum, dedicated to his life, takes us on a journey through his time and work. Hiking, horse-riding and mountain-biking trails allow you to discover the characteristic bocage coulees, the majestic Loire, the panoramic view of Ancenis from the hillsides, its calvaries and the Chapelle de Beaulieu. They'll also take you to the winegrowers' cellars for a tasting of their finest wines (Malvoisie...).
