Enjoying a privileged location between the cities of Nice and Cannes, the pretty seaside resort of Antibes on the Mediterranean is the ideal place for lovers of holidays in the sun. Along its 20 kilometres of coastline, there are a succession of fine sandy beaches, pebble beaches and magnificent coves. With its 5 ports including Port Vauban, the largest marina in Europe, the city welcomes many tourists every year. Known for its jazz festival in July, Antibes was the resort of many artists, such as Picasso who liked to put his easel there to immortalize the beauty of the places.

Start your stay with a visit of the old town of Antibes : along its ramparts erected in 1710 by architect Vauban, you will discover the rich historical heritage of this ancient medieval village. On the Saint-Roch peninsula, you will be able to observe the Fort Carré : its round path offers a panoramic view on Antibes and its magnificent bay. Its pretty park with the typically Mediterranean fauna and flora is worth a look : in this preserved environment of 4 hectares, squirrels, turtle-doves and red foxes cohabit in harmony in the middle of shrubs, trees and flowers with intoxicating scents. Classified as a historical monument, Fort Carré, which once witnessed the city's involvement in the military field, now houses a museum that you can visit throughout the year. Walk along its winding streets and head further south towards Grimaldi Castle : this former residence of the Monegasque family was transformed and converted into a museum dedicated to Picasso a few years ago. Very attached to this pretty seaside resort of the French Riviera, the painter would have stayed in this castle and would have realized there multiple works.

After visiting the city, take the time to relax on one of Antibes' beaches. The beach of La Salis, its white sand and its superb panorama on the turquoise sea and the mountains is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches of the coast. Very popular with holidaymakers during the summer holidays, it may be a bit complicated to find a place to plant your parasol. A few metres further, families and children will prefer the Ponteil beach : situated between the Vieil Antibes and the Cap d'Antibes, it runs alongside a lovely promenade on which young and old can cycle or rollerblade. Ponteil being totally reserved for bathers, parents and children will be able to swim in all serenity. It is also one of the prettiest beaches of the resort with the Gravette beach, located near Port Vauban. Surrounded by the ramparts, you will have from your towel an unobstructed view over the Cap d'Antibes. Ideal for families, it is easily accessible and close to downtown.

Young and old water sports enthusiasts will not be left out since many activities will be accessible to them : water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, water games such as towed buoys, skibus or flyboard for the more adventurous, there will be something for everyone.

Finally, for a day with family or friends, discover the marine world in Marineland Park. With 36 species of marine mammals and 25 hectares, it is the largest water park in Europe.
