A small village facing the Mediterranean at the borders of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var, Théoule-sur-Mer is one of the jewels of the Côte d'Azur. Between Cannes and Fréjus, Théoule-sur-Mer offers its visitors striking scenery with magnificent contrasts, from the blue of the sea to the red of the rocks without forgetting the glittering white of the sand of the beaches and the numerous coves which dot its coastline, for the greatest happiness of holidaymakers in search of paradisiac places and isolated for idleness parentheses.

A seaside resort renowned for its beaches and numerous water sports, Théoule-sur-Mer is also famous for its marina. One of the first to be built on the French coast, this beloved anchorage for yachtsmen can now accommodate up to 180 boats, to the delight of lovers of sea excursions. Take the time to stroll in this port, and in downtown Théoule-sur-Mer to admire the richness of the local heritage. Some monuments are sure to arouse your curiosity such as the statue of the Lying Woman, the statue of the Woman coming out of the Water, the Fountain of the beach of General Bertrand, or the statue of Our Lady of Africa, which measures nearly 12 meters high. The city also has a castle on its land, as well as an old soap factory which was fed by the olive groves of the region. Located on Avenue de Lérins, the Château de Théoule still preserves some beautiful details of its original building (from the 17th century), in the image of its foundations and vaulted cellars. Contemporary art lovers will be in a hurry at the Palais Bulle of couturier Pierre Cardin : located opposite the bay of Cannes, this extraordinary residence full of sculpted "bubbles" is one of the curiosities of Théoule-sur-Mer. Offering breathtaking views over the creeks of the Riviera and the heights of the Esterel massif, this unique futuristic and creative house is unfortunately not there, but rest assured : you can still observe it from the heights of the city. If this palace is impressive during the day, we guarantee that it is also worth watching at night !

Along its coastline or across the Esterel massif, there are many hiking routes in Théoule-sur-Mer, whether you are a pedestrian or cyclist, beginner or experienced walker. The green lung of the resort, the Ponte de l'Aiguille forest park is one of the most beautiful green spaces bordering the Mediterranean coast. Located on both sides of the Esterel Corniche, it offers breathtaking views over the last foothills of the Esterel which split the azure sea from their red rocks. At sea, numerous excursions will allow you to contemplate from the open sea all the beauty of the Theoulian coast. Aboard a jetboat, a sailing boat, a yacht or even an underwater vision boat in the "Bay of the Billionaires", the spectacles on the Esterel and the turquoise coves are definitely not to be missed under any pretext.

Théoule-sur-Mer is also the ideal place to discover or rediscover, with family or friends, the joys of water sports. First of all, diving is one of the station's flagship activities : thanks to the Pointe de l'Aiguille underwater discovery trail, amateur and experienced divers can observe the rich fauna and flora of the Mediterranean seabed. You can also go aquabike at sea, snorkeling, jet skiing at the foot of the Corniche d'Or and the Lérins Islands, flyboard, flyride, sailing, water skiing, catamaran, pedal boat, paddle, wake board... In short: you will be spoilt for choice.

Finally, if Théoule-sur-Mer is also popular with holidaymakers, it is above all for its absolutely magnificent beaches. Less known than the beaches of Saint-Raphaël, Cannes or Mandelieu-la-Napoule, the beaches of Théoule-sur-Mer are even more pleasant because they are less frequented than their neighbours. The coves of the Pointe de l'Aiguille are certainly the most beautiful beaches of the seaside resort : made of small gravel and sand, these three absolutely magnificent beaches look like postcards with their transparent water and the rocks that surround them. Note that one of these beaches, located behind the Gardanne Caves, is known to be naturist. The paradisiacal and preserved setting of the "Plage de l'Aiguille" makes it one of the most breathtaking of Théoule-sur-Mer. Bordered by the Parc Naturel Départemental de la Ponte de l'Aiguille, not far from the André Pradayrol promenade, it offers a magnificent setting for the afternoons of family games and swimming.
