With its imposing and colourful Château des Baumette (now the André Malraux cultural space), its military museum, its Escoffier culinary art museum and its medieval castle, Villeneuve-Loubet is, we can say, a destination of choice for lovers of architecture and culture. Overlooking Villeneuve-Loubet, the medieval castle is one of the city's emblematic buildings. Its imposing fortress set in the middle of a huge wooded garden where are dungeons and drawbridge is one of the most beautiful on the coast. From its round path, the panoramic views over Villeneuve-Loubet, the Côte d'Azur, the Mediterranean Sea and the Baie des Anges are breathtaking. Marking the village coast with its original architecture to say the least, the impressive Marina Baie des Anges is classified as an architectural heritage of the twentieth century. A dynamic tourist centre, with its port, its croisette, its shops, its 15 kilometres of cycle paths, its park of Vaugrenier and that of the Rives du Loup, it is one of the outstanding symbols of the seaside resort. As much loved as hated because of its undulating pyramid-shaped buildings, it is home to many grandiose yachts and attracts boaters whatever the season.

But Villeneuve-Loubet, it is also a small Provencal village full of charm perched on a hill, whose alleys we advise you to walk for a 100% authentic discovery. Its old streets full of history, its churches, its old doors, its panoramas and its flowered balconies give it an undeniable charm. The village is also the starting point for many excursions, especially along the banks of the Loup, a popular place for strolls for locals and visitors alike. Generally speaking, Villeneuve-Loubet and its surroundings are crossed by countless hiking and cycling routes through forests (Parc Naturel départemental des Rives du Loup), meadows, coasts, banks and town. With family or friends, know that "La Villeneuvoise", a green way connecting the village and the seaside, will allow you to discover superb panoramas on the surroundings via 18 kilometers of marked itineraries, that you are pedestrian or cyclist.

With more than 5 kilometers of coastline including 4 kilometers of beaches, you will necessarily find the place that suits you to plant your parasol facing the Mediterranean. On both sides of the Marina, you will find many pebble beaches. To the east is the "Bouches du Loup Beach" : covered with fine sand during the summer, it is very popular with families who come to bathe in its warm and calm waters. Bordered by a pedestrian walk perfect for walks in the early morning, we advise you to go early in the day to avoid the crowds and find the ideal place for idleness parentheses. Just below, the "Plage de la Batterie" is certainly the most pleasant beach in Villeneuve-Loubet. Made up of pebbles, it is bordered by a promenade which will allow you in no time to join the sandy beaches of Cagnes-sur-Mer by skirting the Mediterranean Sea. From the casino-discotheque to the Baie des Anges, extends the "Plage de Vaugrenier". Unfortunately bordered by road and rail, it is not the most idyllic beach for relaxing moments, however, it is sparsely frequented and you will easily find space there. As for activities, you will have at your disposal a wide range of water sports from the beaches of the seaside resort. On the agenda ? Optimist, catamaran, wake board, paddle, sailing, scuba diving, aquatic hiking, jet skiing or scooter, parachute, flyboard, jet and surfing on the nearby beaches of Antibes and Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Finally, for thrills with the whole family, head for the "Canyon Forest", famous for its adventure courses, but also for the many whitewater sports it offers : waterfalls, canyoning in the Gorges du Loup, natural slides or even giant tree and zip line... There will be plenty for the whole family.
