Between Pleumeur-Bodou and Perros-Guirec, Trégastel enjoys a privileged location along the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany. This small commune of the Côtes d'Armor abounds in assets, notably thanks to its magnificent setting, its serrated coast and its 12 beaches each more beautiful than the other.
Hiking enthusiasts : you are in the right place ! The Pink Granite Coast is famous for its many walking trails and the city of Trégastel is no exception. Discover those who cross the Traouïéro Valley : heavily wooded, it is dotted with granite blocks, ferns and immense trees in a preserved nature. The famous GR34 also passes through Trégastel : in a singular setting, facing aquamarine water, thousands of visitors tread the customs path every year, from Trégastel to Perros-Guirec.
Walk to the Renote peninsula on a sunny afternoon : you can cycle around it, but it is ideal to walk there so that you can take small steep paths. Climb on the rocks that line the island and thus, from these granite giants, you will be able to observe superb landscapes on the coast. A real geological treasure, the Renote peninsula has been shaped by salt, wind and the sea for thousands of years. From its beach, facing the archipelago of the Seven Islands, the sunsets are breathtaking : do not forget your camera to immortalize this panorama with shimmering colors. At nightfall, you will certainly meet dozens of rabbits who live on the island and who, in the evening, leap out of their burrows for the happiness of the children.
The city of Trégastel does not lack interesting places to visit: wash houses, fountains, tidal mills and other megalithic monuments (menhirs, covered alleys) also criss-cross the city. Walk through the streets of Trégastel, dotted with colourful hydrangeas and huge mimosas : you can admire the architecture so characteristic of Breton houses, from the traditional stone farmhouse to blue shutters through the neo-Breton house, the coup de coeur is guaranteed. You will also have the opportunity to cross on your way several churches and chapels typically Breton dating from the twelfth century.
If Trégastel is famous for its vestiges and its geological richness, it is also famous for its beaches on which many holidaymakers bask when summer comes. Famous family resort, its rugged coastline abounds with beautiful beaches of fine sand, secret coves and islets. The most beautiful beach is the Grève Blanche beach : located west of Trégastel, it faces the Île aux Lapins. Bordered by dunes, this wide stretch of sand will offer you a sumptuous panorama over the open sea. Next door, the Grève Rose beach will be the favourite spot for kite-surfers and water sports enthusiasts. The Tourony beach nestled in a green setting is also one of the most beautiful beaches in Trégastel, offering a breathtaking view over the castle of Costaérès. This imposing neo-medieval style castle is nestled on an island, surrounded by pink rocks and turquoise water. Accessible on foot at low tide, it was the resort of many authors and artists who came to draw their inspiration.
Finally, how to speak Trégastel without evoking his gastronomy ? Between land and sea, Breton cuisine does not lack resources. Scallops, lobsters, Roscoff onions, Cocos de Paimpol, and of course Breton patties, all drizzled with cider and local beer : how to resist ?

The GR34 offers beautiful landscapes on the coast between Perros Guirec and Trebeurden. Ile Renote (the tour is 2 km long): not to be missed as well as the Ile Grande and a little further the tip of Bihit.

Avoid the Seven Islands pancake house. To quench our thirst with the cider we had to cut it with water. Lannion : "Crêperie du Moulin Vert", excellent, nice (remember to book).

The restaurant "Duplex": very good value for money. Make your way through the customs, you will see the beautiful pink granite ribs. Stretches of beaches offer themselves to you. Beautiful region !!

Every day, you can walk along a piece of the customs officers' path and discover superb landscapes (wilder towards Trébeurden). Very moving: the "Forgiveness of Our Lady of Clarity" on August 15. In Paimpol on the port: restaurant "Le Neptune" (oyster producer).
