For hikers, the tourist office sells a guide to the routes. For the average walker, I recommend the "Col dAune" hike from La Cluse (departure 20 km from Superdévoluy). The most intrepid must test the'via souterrata' in the Superdévoluy station. It's a fun 2-hour experience with a mix of via ferrata and caving.

Apart from skiing and everything related to it (snowshoes,...) not much to do: don't go there for the charm of an alpine village with its traditional shops and farms with snow-covered roofs: Superdevoluy is 3 or 4 huge building bars and that's it! the few shops are hidden in the bar closest to the slopes. no swimming pool for 10 years, no skating rink either, at most a few places for night owls. In short, go for skiing only.

We had 7 days of super sunshine and exceptional heat. Our 3 children discovered skiing and we followed the ESF classes. Very nice monitors. Small and family resort. We would walk in the morning in the resort, then take the ESF class and ski together. And in the evening, sled down the slopes. Nice gymnasium too, very well equipped with inflatable castle inside (5 euros) and squash etc.. A mini torchlight descent one evening by the instructors. Nice and quiet place to stay. Nothing to do with the big stations.

Everything is great: the via ferrata Agnelles and Etroits just nearby are very well supervised. Canyoning in the white waters of the Buech is very pleasant and to be experienced with the family, the supervision is superb. Congratulations to all the guides and tourist offices. Above all, do not miss visiting the Sautet dam, which is not very far by car, and plan a hellish via ferrata for the grown-ups but also a climbing wall for the little ones.
