For a good small family restaurant, no hesitation: restaurant "La Pizzaïole" in Saint Rémy sur Durolle.

To do: the ride on electric scooters. Pro and animator equipment, Olivier, super nice. 2 hours of care with this new vehicle for a very reasonable price. Our grandson loved it...... Twice.

Saint Rémy's pizzeria is very good. The puy de Dôme is to be done, the Aubusson lake, the Michelin museum in Clermont-Ferrand, the volcano of Lemptegy and the Animal Park of Auvergne near Issoire. Very beautiful place and tranquility of rigor.

Don't leave without tasting the blueberry pie from the Boulangerie de Saint Rémy sur Durolle, or without going to eat a pizza at the "Pizzaiole".

Unfortunately, from a gastronomic point of view, St Rémy is similar to the desert: no restaurant really presenting local specialities, all of them, brasserie style without much research and not much either in Thiers or the surrounding area, hence big disappointment. Of course to see and do, it's Vulcania but here "the food" is downright terrible.
