Looking for nature, adventure, calm and escape? Do you want to be able to enjoy the benefits of the sea without being overwhelmed by it? Head for the small town of Beauchamps, located a few steps away from the high chalk cliffs that line the English Channel.

Watered by the Bresle river and numerous ponds, Beauchamps is located in the Somme department. A small, quiet village, it enjoys a privileged location less than 10 minutes from the superb beaches of the star resorts of Le Tréport, Mers-les-Bains and Ault. Beauchamps, a Picardy town on the Normandy border, is the perfect place to stay if you wish to visit the wonderful and much sought-after Côte d'Albâtre, which stretches for almost 130 kilometres along the English Channel. Dynamic, Beauchamps is adored by sports enthusiasts who come here for a walk with family or friends. In addition to hiking and mountain biking trips in the direction of Eu, Le Tréport or the neighbouring ponds, you can enjoy a whole range of water sports activities, especially at the Domaine du Lieu. Wakeboarding, kitesurfing, water skiing, towed buoys, paddle, canoeing, pedal boats... In addition, the domain is home to an equestrian centre with 70 horses, perfect for young and old to enjoy equestrian excursions, on horse or pony, in this beautiful corner of the Somme.

To join the communes of Le Tréport or Mers-les-Bains? Nothing could be simpler! Easily accessible via signposted itineraries, by road or mountain bike trails, the beaches of the Manche are less than 10 kilometres from the commune of Beauchamps. As far as visits are concerned, we can only advise you to make a stopover in Eu: with its important built heritage, the largest in Normandy after Rouen, Eu is at the crossroads of Normandy and the Bay of the Somme. Its magnificent castle, its museums, its collegiate church Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Laurent famous for its crypt and its organs, not forgetting the former royal estate and the forest of Eu are "must see". The very bourgeois seaside resort of Le Tréport, a true Belle Époque jewel, fascinates its visitors thanks to the splendour of its architecture, made up of colourful seaside villas that have blossomed along the seafront and throughout the town. Our advice: after having taken advantage of the beach to swim, paddle or perfect your tan, take the funicular of Le Tréport to climb up to the heights of the town. Unique of its kind, it connects the bottom of the station to the "terraces" and will offer you from this belvedere an unforgettable panorama of the sea and the coast, which sparkles with a thousand lights at sunset. Finally, it is impossible not to marvel at the poetic beauty of these chalk cliffs, the highest in Europe, a renowned hiking site that is worth a visit at any time of the year and offers breathtaking views worthy of the most beautiful postcards in the region.
