Just its name is enough to make your taste buds tremble: the "Fête du Raisin" is back in Fréjus! A traditional secular summer festival, it celebrates the arrival of the first grapes every year. This year, the focus is on rap with the presence of Master Gims (July 25) and the two brothers Big Flo and Oli (August 2) who are setting the French stages on fire as part of their latest tour. Sunday, July 28, a radical change of atmosphere as the Fréjus arenas will host a performance of Swan Lake, performed by the Imperial Ballet of Russia. Interested? Tickets from 39€.

> Theatre under the stars (25-06-2019) :

A must-see summer event in Fréjus, the "Nuits Auréliennes" will be back in service from 16 to 30 July. In the magnificent and warm setting of the Roman theatre of Fréjus, this festival, totally dedicated to the theatre, will offer its visitors beautiful moments of sharing in a friendly atmosphere. This year, there are 5 eclectic performances waiting for the fans, all more hilarious, daring and spicy than the other. Armelle, Jean-Pierre Castaldi, Virginie Lemoine, Macha Meril, Nathalie Dessay, Philippe Chevallier and Didier Gustin will be among the participants. 15€ for children under 12 years old, and from 33 to 40€ per adult.

From 29 June to 28 August, the city of Fréjus is organising open-air film screenings. This concept, straight from the United States (with the drive-in), is very popular during the summer period. As part of the Roman Theatre's dream, you can, throughout the summer, attend film screenings (Toy Story 4, The Lion King, Spiderman Homecoming, Ibiza, Comme des Bêtes 2...) or film concerts (Yesterday, Bohemian Rhapsody...). > Provençal hikes (18-04-2019) :

The Hiking Festival takes place in Fréjus in spring! For its 27th edition, on May 19, several thematic courses for all levels were organized both on land and at sea. You can choose from 3 hiking trails (25, 19 or 12 kilometres), 2 Nordic walking trails (18 or 9 kilometres), or 1 water walking trail from Saint Aygulf beach. Other activities will be offered, such as a guided tour of Frejus, zumba or flamenco lessons. 10€ per person.

Every year, on the 3rd Sunday after Easter, Fréjus celebrates its patron saint Saint-François-de-Paule with great pomp and circumstance. "Les "Bravades", as they are called, are century-old festivities during which residents and visitors are invited to celebrate to the sound of traditional Provençal music. On the agenda? The city of Fréjus has just been rewarded for the quality of its services, and more particularly for its offer of aquatic activities. A label that the seaside resort owes in particular to its brand new nautical base on Boulevard d'Alger, inaugurated last April after a year of work and an investment of 1.6 million euros. This distinction is a real plus for the resort, which offers many activities ranging from catamaran training to fun board initiation, optimist, dinghy, surfing or windsurfing.
