The port of Hyères is a noisy district at night frequented by thugs who rode motorcycles and cars and drink heavily. When the noise stops, the relay is taken by garbage trucks and deliveries. This is no place to spend your holidays. To run away as much as possible.

Go to "La cigale Provençale": it's a souvenir bazaar and in the background: there are a few small tables where you can eat: you're in the open air, under the trees: it's quiet and the owner very nice!
