Since it often takes more than an hour to reach Saint-Tropez and the surrounding villages by car, we advise you to rent a bike to enjoy the Cogolinois landscapes serenely while strolling along the coast. There are many hiking routes to start in Cogolin : it will be possible for you to take an excursion through the Moorish forest, the coastal paths, Grimaud, Gassin, the surrounding vineyards, Le Plan de la Tour and the entire Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The "Sentier des Crêtes" will take the most sporty to the heights of the Massif des Maures, while the "Sentier botanique" and the "parcours de découverte" will delight families. Also, a historical tour of the most beautiful monuments of Cogolin is not to be missed : every Thursday at 10 am, this free guided tour will allow you in one hour to see all the most beautiful buildings of the town, from its Clock Tower to the fountains and chapels that dot its streets, without forgetting its church Saint-Sauveur-Saint-Étienne, as well as the history of its beautiful porches, carved sometimes in the basalt, sometimes in the serpentine.

Finally, how can you spend a wonderful holiday in Port Cogolin without having taken a trip to sea ? There are many excursions by boat or catamaran from Port Cogolin : visit the pelagos sanctuary to observe sperm whales, whales, blue dolphins and pilot whales, sailing course in the creeks, discovery of Port-Cros and Porquerolles, but also Ramatuelle, La Croix Valmer, Le Lavandou, l'Île du Levant, Cannes or Antibes... You can choose !
