Ready for a sunny and glamorous holiday? Head for Saint-Tropez, a small rustic village with pretty alleys, now the capital of showbiz and jet-set. If the place is popular with celebrities, it will surprise you with its simplicity and authenticity. Start your visit in the early morning to admire the sun rising over the old port of Saint-Tropez where boats and yachts have dropped anchor: for a coffee on the terrace, you can enjoy the tranquility of this pretty village. Take the time to stroll along its streets with their typically Provençal charm where small shops and luxury brands meet. Then climb up to the Citadel of Saint-Tropez: this 17th century listed monument is composed of an amazing hexagonal keep that is worth a look. From the heights of the building, you will have an exceptional view of the bay of Saint-Tropez.

Continue your walk towards the Gendarmerie and Cinema Museum, located not far from the port: during a visit, you will discover that Saint-Tropez and the 7th art, it is always a beautiful love story. From Brigitte Bardot to Louis de Funès, many actors and directors have chosen Saint-Tropez as their setting. And there is enough to understand this choice by observing the superb panoramas that the city offers!

After these visits, head for the beaches of the seaside resort: take the coastal path, from the Tour du Portalet to the magnificent beach of Pampelonne located in the town of Ramatuelle, passing by the famous Madrague of Brigitte Bardot and the Bay of Canebiers: the landscapes are magnificent. Put your towel on the beach of Les Canoubiers, 4 kilometres from the city centre. 200 metres long, it is popular with sailing enthusiasts thanks to its nautical centre. La Moutte beach is undoubtedly the wildest of Saint-Tropez' beaches: far from the crowded areas, its turquoise water contrasts with the white sand and the green pine forest that borders the coast. Within five minutes' walk, you will find Flolaudis Creek. This small, sandy and shaded bay is a real little corner of paradise, where diving enthusiasts wearing masks and snorkels can watch the sea bed in complete tranquility. Finally, don't miss the Salins beach and its beautiful expanse of fine sand: here, calm and relaxation are on the programme in front of the boats sailing offshore. Many water activities will be at your disposal during this stay: fly board, sailing, jet-ski and even parasailing, there will be something for everyone.

Stroll along the quays, from where you can observe, moored in the harbour, pretty fishing boats and huge yachts, owned by the wealthiest holidaymakers. Come and enjoy a good meal with family or friends in one of the many restaurants facing the sea. You will taste the generous and tasty cuisine, characteristic of the cities of Provence. Pistou soup, bouillabaisse, aïoli, pissaladière, tapenade and Tropezian pie will be on the menu! Finally, at nightfall, Saint-Tropez is transformed: in bars, clubs, discos and casinos, holidaymakers and celebrities mingle to the rhythm of the dance floor, until dawn.
