The fortified town Mont-Dauphin, located at 1050 meters above sea level, testifies again to the genius of Vauban. This star-shaped construction with pink marble ramparts barred particularly the access from the Italian borders. To discover in summer as in winter, these sites full of history framed by the summits are perfect to take a good breath of fresh air.

During the summer season, the Hautes-Alpes put more and more activities at your disposal. Enthusiasts of thrills will especially appreciate the experience of the Luge Monty Express in Montgenèvre: an unforgettable descent of 1400 meters amidst magnificent landscapes. Young and old one will come and fly a sled set on a monorail for a good dose of adrenaline ! Also visit the sites of the Grimp'in Forest in Briançon, Montgenèvre and Embrun. On the program in this amusement park in the middle of the forest: tree-climbing courses of several levels, via ferrata, mini-golf, paintball, laser game outdoors... There is something for everyone !
