With its Famille Plus label and high snowfall during the winter season, Villard-de-Lans village resort attracts many holidaymakers to its sunny slopes every year.

At the foot of the Grande Moucherolle, in the sublime Vercors Regional Natural Park, Villard-de-Lans enjoys a privileged location for sports stays. Articulated around the village, the Villard-de-Lans ski resort is lively all year round, for the delight of those who love skiing and adrenaline. The Espace skiable Villard-Corrençon, as it is known, offers a wide range of activities for all levels, all desires and all budgets. Thanks to 125 kilometres of downhill ski slopes drawn between its pine and fir forests, the domain enjoys a very good reputation and the title of the largest ski area in the Vercors. Spread out between 1143 and 2050 metres above sea level, this area, with its varied terrain, will delight both novice and experienced skiers: in detail, there are 11 green slopes, 12 blue slopes, 16 red slopes and 10 beautiful black slopes for the most adventurous, including the famous Carole Montillet piste. Do you prefer northern activities? Don't worry, the resort has something to delight you because its Nordic domain is almost as vast as its alpine domain, offering you nearly 110 kilometres of skating and alternative runs for cross-country and cross-country skiing, accessible from the Porte des Hauts-Plateaux and the Bois Barbu. And that's not all, since this area is well known for its stunning views, especially of the Moucherolle and its valleys dotted with snow-covered fir trees. The 50 kilometres of marked snowshoe trails will allow you to combine sporting activity with the pleasure of the eyes, during walks in the open air in the snow-covered valleys of the Vercors. Good advice for beautiful views: whether you are a pedestrian or a skier, do not hesitate to use the chairlifts at Belvedere and Les Crêtes! From the heights of the latter, the landscapes on the immaculate peaks are truly magnificent.

For family activities, the Luge Park of La Colline des Bains is worth a visit! Totally dedicated to the practice of fun activities, you can go sledging, tobogganing or snake-gliding, an activity that we recommend especially for beautiful slices of laughter. The resort of Villard-de-Lans also offers a wide range of activities, from airboarding to biathlon, fatbike, sleigh or caterpillar rides, Nordic walking, ice climbing and Nordic hiking.

In summer, when the resort drops its thick white coat to reveal the green curves of its mountains, Villard-de-Lans becomes a real little paradise for nature lovers. Mountainboarding, horse riding, tennis, tai chi, paragliding, ski-wheels, mountain biking in the resort's bike park, climbing, tree climbing in Ludi Park, hot air balloon flights over the resort and its surroundings, via corda, via ferrata, caving, canyoning in the Écouges or Furon Canyon... The activities are varied in Villard-de-Lans ! But if there is one that is very popular on sunny days, it is hiking. Nordic walking version, thematic walk, trekking or quiet excursion, everyone will find what they are looking for thanks to more than 3000 kilometres of marked itineraries. Several sites are particularly recommended, such as the Gorges du Bruyant, those of Furon, the Grottes de Choranche, the Lac du Pré and the Lac de la Moucherolle. These two artificial lakes, located respectively at an altitude of 1536 and 1916 metres, are easily accessible via the Glovettes chairlift and the Côte 2000 cable car. With their air of small Canadian paradise, they offer a fresh bubble to walkers after their journey. Fishermen like to come here to fish for Fario trout, when photographers meet there for beautiful images at sunrise.
