Camping Tikayan La Bergerie Plage is located on the famous Giens peninsula, just 200m from the blue waters of the Mediterranean. At the other end of the spectrum, Hyères town center, with its medieval quarter and castle ruins, offers a breathtaking view of the peninsula. Very quiet campsite with a convenient beach nearby. There are no activities in the campsite, but plenty to do in the surrounding area (bike rental, paddle, hiking, etc.). There are lots of people on the beach and on the road, and the campsite is rather poorly served by shops (the small mini-markets around are extremely expensive, so you'll have to take the car to find something cheaper). On the plus side, there's a pizzeria on the campsite. The mobile home is rather outdated but still correct with air-conditioning.

Very warm welcome. Very quiet campsite, two minutes from the beach. The new mobile home is very well equipped, but lacks a dishwasher. On-site laundry facilities would be a plus. It's a pity that the public path leading to the beach isn't better maintained (brambles and weeds narrow the path and don't make it easy to pass). The beach is very clean, as is the bathing water. Bruno's pizzeria, which overlooks the campsite on one side, makes excellent pizzas with a keen sense of customer relations. I give the campsite and the pizzeria a 9/10.
