Surrounded by the forests of La Coubre and Les Combots, La Palmyre also offers a privileged environment for walking, horse riding or cycling. By taking certain paths, you can reach the magnificent 9-hole golf course of La Palmyre and the amusement parks : The Palmyra Adventures and the Indian Forest. The 40 kilometres of cycle paths will allow you to visit the neighbouring towns of La Tremblade and Saint-Palais-sur-Mer and even venture further on the Vélodyssée. After a good day's stroll, sit on the terrace of a good restaurant and enjoy all the flavours of Saintonge's gastronomy : Marennes-Oléron oysters, crickets, pibales, stew, stuffed, millas...

The shopping centre of La Palmyra is very nice For a great jet ski trip, I would recommend "Jet Alizé" in the port of La Palmyre: great team and very good prices (cheaper in the area).

Go to Pistache's for ice cream in the city centre near the roundabout. And don't hesitate to visit the "La Pêcherie" fish shop in the centre too.
