It is on the Island of Beauty, in South Corsica, that the small village of Albitreccia is located. In the middle valley of Taravo, this commune is composed of several settlements spread out between the land and the sea, with hamlets going up to 1058 meters of altitude. Just south of Ajaccio, this quiet village made of beautiful stone houses is rich of many archeological sites inherited from the Prehistory as well as from the medieval period, such as casteddi, castles and numerous Romanesque chapels.
