Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio is one of the pearls of southern Corsica. Between sea and mountain, chestnut trees and heavenly beaches, it is one of the most popular destinations on the island. Located only 20 minutes north of Porto-Vecchio, Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio has some of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica, a true paradise for lovers of wide open spaces and turquoise water to be damned.
Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio is one of the largest towns in Corsica, an ideal place to plant your parasol for a dream holiday under the sun. Lovers of idleness, water sports, mountain excursions and swimming ? Look no further, you are in the right place. Nestled in the heart of the Alta Rocca, the village promises its visitors breathtaking panoramic views of the Bavella Mountains and Mount Incudine. On the heights of the village, in the middle of chestnut trees and holm oaks, beautiful typical houses made of granite line the rocks of the valley of Asinao, offering the lucky holidaymakers the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful panoramas of the commune.
We know that the mountain is the favourite playground of nature lovers, and when we see the diversity of landscapes that the Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio region has to offer, it is easy to understand why so many walkers come to its lands each year. In addition to hiking along multiple paths through the Corsican Regional Natural Park and the San Martinu valley, you can also go mountain biking with your family, friends or accompanied by a guide. You can also climb, eat in the shade of huge hundred-year-old pines and swim in its transparent rivers : numerous in the area, they constitute beautiful natural pools in the heart of the mountains, for swimming moments in a superb setting. The Cavu river in particular, located in the valley of the same name, is very appreciated for its beauty : we advise you to walk along the river, before diving into its refreshing waters. Young and old can also go to the multi adventure park "A Tyroliana" to enjoy its many infrastructures. On the agenda? Hanging, canyoning, water hiking, climbing and cycling along the Cavu River.
In terms of heritage, Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio has two superb Genoese towers, old defensive buildings dating from the 16th century. The first is 4 kilometres from the village, in the beautiful Gulf of Pinarello. Raised on the island "Isula Di I Corsa", this square tower is accessible only by sea. The second is perched 30 metres above the "Fautea Beach" : you will absolutely have to go there to admire the breathtaking panorama of the coast and the Pinarellu Tower.
What will certainly captivate your hearts during your stay in Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio are of course its sumptuous beaches. Between the bridge and the Genoese tower, the "Fautea Beach" stretches for nearly 200 metres. Very popular in summer, this family beach is very popular because of its gently sloping bathing and its beautifully preserved wilderness. In its extension, the "Beach of the Genoese Tower" nestled in a protected natural setting is only very little frequented. Very quiet, it is accessible by a small wooded path, perfect for strolling. After a few minutes of walking, you will discover its protected cocoon ideal for moments of idleness, far from the hustle and bustle of the most popular beaches. Arm of sand between the sea and the pond of Ove Santu, the "Beach of Ove Santu" is a beautiful wilderness offering superb views over Fautea. The "Plage de Capicciola" is one of the most beautiful beaches in South Corsica : almost deserted because it is very little known, it is also quite difficult to access, but we assure you that the game is worth the candle. With its sand, pebbles, and breathtaking water, it is one of the most beautiful postcards of Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio. Often compared to the beach of Saint Cyprien, "Pinarellu Beach" offers a wide stretch of fine sand facing a crystal clear sea. Bordered by maritime pines, it conquers families thanks to its gentle slope and shallow waters. In addition to the magnificent panoramas it offers, this beach is a delight for lovers of water sports : you can surf, sail, jet-ski, kitesurf, sea kayak, paddle... Finally, you can also go to Pinarello to board a boat and go on an excursion at sea, towards the Lavezzi islands in particular.

Pinarello Beach (or Pinarellu in Corsica) is characterized by its white sand, turquoise water and umbrella pines that form a pine forest where it is good to walk. A 500-year-old Genoese tower overlooks the bay on a rocky peak.
