Marked by an architectural heritage typical of the island, Tiuccia testifies to the rich history of this small island city. By the sea, you will find many ruins of Genoese fortifications, such as the 16th century Capigliolu Tower, or a fort built between the 17th and 18th centuries. The village of Casaglione is also worth seeing during your stay: with its picturesque architecture made of houses with thick granite walls and beautiful fortified monuments, it has several sites not to be missed, such as its Romanesque church, and its archaeological site of Monte Lazzu, where you can see the dolmen of Tremica. Above the seaside resort, the ruins of Capraja Castle are also worth seeing: an old county residence, it offers a splendid view of Tiuccia and its beach below from the heights of its rocky spur.

Located on the Gulf of Sagona, at the foot of the Capraghja rock, Tiuccia has a splendid beach made of fine sand, perfect to allow you to enjoy beautiful sunny days facing the sea. To the north of the beach, this is where most of the traffic is concentrated; to the south, however, you will discover a wilder beach, more rocky too, but just as beautiful and ideal for swimming. In its extension, the cove of Tiuccia is a small well preserved secret: at the foot of the hotel of Allegria, this very little frequented beach and strewn with rocks is the perfect place for a picnic at sunset facing the sea. A little further north of Tiuccia, Liamone beach is worth a visit: this long beach of fine sand spread over several kilometres is a true paradise of tranquility.
