After this immersion in the nature, go to the discovery of the millenary cities of the Dordogne. Rendez-vous in Périgueux, a former Gallo-Roman city that houses some forty historic monuments. Enjoy the Vésone tower, the Barrière castle and the Saint-Front cathedral with its beautiful Byzantine domes. Then you will be charmed by the medieval city of Sarlat and admire its unique heritage : Saint-Sacerdos cathedral, La Boétie house, Gisson hotel... But also visit Bergerac and its lanes lined with half-timbered houses and some of the 10 classified villages One of the most beautiful in France : Beynac-et-Cazenac, La Roque Gageac, Limeuil, Saint-Amand de Coly, Saint-Jean de Côle...

In the Eyzies of Tayac, discover the Font-de-Gaume cave, the Cro-Magnon shelter and the National Museum of Prehistory with its collection of 18,000 pieces retracing nearly 400,000 years of humanity's evolution.
