After this immersion in the nature, go to the discovery of the millenary cities of the Dordogne. Rendez-vous in Périgueux, a former Gallo-Roman city that houses some forty historic monuments. Enjoy the Vésone tower, the Barrière castle and the Saint-Front cathedral with its beautiful Byzantine domes. Then you will be charmed by the medieval city of Sarlat and admire its unique heritage : Saint-Sacerdos cathedral, La Boétie house, Gisson hotel... A stay in the Dordogne could not be complete without a long journey through history, in the Vézère valley which gathers a multitude of prehistoric sites.
