The best way to soak up Evian and its atmosphere is on foot : stroll through its charming old-fashioned streets, dotted with magnificent 19th and 20th century buildings, and discover the Palais Lumière, one of the city's most beautiful monuments. If today it has become a cultural centre, it was once the thermal baths of the city : you will recognize it thanks to its imposing, very elegant white façade and its magnificent metal and glass dome. The largest lake in Europe, Lake Geneva covers nearly 5830 square kilometres. The marina of Evian is one of the most modern on Lake Geneva : with its 800 berths and privileged location, it welcomes many boaters every year. For swimming desires, two choices are offered to you: you will be able to opt for the swimming pool located in front of the lake avenue of the General Dupas, and to benefit from the numerous installations this sound nautical center.
