In the magnificent department of Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, lies the small village of Serrières-en-Chautagne. Along the meanders of the Rhône, on the border with the Ain, the village of Serrières-en-Chautagne lies at the foot of the Gros Four and Grand Colombier mountains. 35 kilometres west of Annecy, 40 kilometres from Chambéry and 60 from Geneva, Serrières-en-Chautagne is definitely an idyllic location to discover all the beauty of Savoie and Haute-Savoie. The other major asset of Serrières-en-Chautagne? Being located barely 9 kilometres north of the magnificent Lac du Bourget. Easily accessible on foot, on horseback or by bike, Lac du Bourget is a must see during your stay in the mountains of Savoie. The largest natural lake in France, with more than 18 kilometers long, nestled in the hollow of the Bauges, the Mont du Chat, the Massif de l'Épine, the Chambotte and the Mont Revard, this enchanting place par excellence has by history inspired many souls, from painters to poets, novelists and photographers.
