Situated at 2127 meters above sea level in the heart of the Haute Tarentaise region, the Savoyard resort of Tignes Val Claret is known for its festive and warm ambiance. The ski area of Tignes is very popular with skiers, and for good reason ! 80 tracks on an area of 150 kilometers, it is a true paradise for the lovers of the glide. It is also part of Tignes-Val d'Isère, which connects Tignes to Val d'Isère, the neighboring resort. This large estate has 300 kilometers of slopes and two snowparks. We do not see the end ! Tignes Val Claret is also a multitude of sports in all seasons. If you are not afraid of the void, do not hesitate to try to climb. On the rock in summer or ice in winter, it is in a grandiose setting that one comes to dominate the mountain. Go to the Val Claret Guides office to get classes with a qualified instructor. Also know that the office allows you to discover many other mountain sports such as canyoning, hiking or off-piste skiing, to name but a few.
At 2100 meters above sea level, Tignes Val Claret has a very original golf course : it is one of the highest in Europe ! Its 18-hole course is punctuated by nature-created obstacles such as lakes and streams. Its location in the resort allows players to enjoy a remarkable view of the glacier and the surrounding peaks. The youngest and the least experienced can still try mini-golf for a friendly moment in the middle of nature.
If you are staying in Val Claret, you will not be able to miss the multitude of restaurants ready to let you discover the gastronomy of Savoie and elsewhere ! The must-see of the resort is Le Couloir. On the ground floor you will find a British pub with a festive atmosphere. Upstairs, change of scenery : you are welcomed in a restaurant with refined and tasty cuisine, where the dishes are as much pleasure to the eyes as to the papillae.
